Head coach and owner Willie Johnson has made history by signing the Carolina Astros to the I.E.B.L basketball league for the very first time. Johnson expressed his overwhelming emotions, saying, "I'm incredibly humble. Tears filled my eyes as I put pen to paper. To think about where I started as a young basketball enthusiast and now being able to sign my inaugural basketball team to a league is simply everything to me!
